Chart notes

COUNT FROST tracked the leaders from a comfortable distance for the first mile and a quarter, steadily picked up the pace to challenge on the fourth turn, took control at the quarter pole, opened a clear lead and finished convincingly without threat in the lane. ROYAL DRAGOON unhurried for the first mile and a half to be well off the leaders, commenced a steady advance leaving the half mile pole and continued to progress to gain the place a clear second best. EXALTED JOY reserved off the pace through the first three turn, gained ground down the backside the second time to be prominent into the far turn and flattened out finishing evenly unable to sustain the rally while keeping on to take the show. VAIL OF HONOR slow early to be the distant trailer for the first lap and a half, rallied mildly coming home passed tiring rivals without impact. MUGSY MALONE set the pace for the first three-quarters, settled just off the early challenger into the clubhouse turn the second time, rallied to challenge into the far turn and weakened turning for home. DIGITAL SOFTWARE prompted the pace for the first three quarters, moved up to take the lead down the lane the first time, set the pace to the fourth turn and came up empty on the far bend. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED DUE TO AN EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION.
