Chart notes
OBI KENOBI shuffled a bit at the start between rivals to be at the back early, steadily gained ground down the backside leaving the half mile pole, saved ground on the bend cutting the corner to engage the leaders turning for home and pulled clear in stretch. MOR CRAFTY prompted the pace to the turn, rallied on the bend to be on even terms in a four way match for the lead at the top of the lane, could not go with the winner but finished willingly to hold the place. A VAN ON THE RUN tracked the leaders into the turn, rallied six wide to be with the lead turning for home and was outkicked down the lane. TAP THE WIND set the pace to midway on the turn, was surrounded by challengers at the quarter pole, had no answer and weakened in the stretch. CAN'T CRASHMYPARTY stalked the pace in the early going and faded from contention. COUSIN JOE was not a threat.
