Chart notes

MR LAOBAN stalked the pacesetter from the inside into the backside, was rank wanting to go near the five-eighths pole, settled nicely along the fence leaving the half mile pole, angled three wide on the turn to loom, was unable to go with the runner-up in upper stretch but kept-on determinedly to wear that one down inside the sixteenth pole in a game effort. SAILOR'S CHANCE reserved off the pace for the first five-eighths, circled five wide on the far turn to take command turning for home and was worn down late in the drive. SMALL SAILOR pressed the pace from three wide down the backside, rallied in tandem with JAHEZ on the final turn to loom turning for home and lacked a finishing kick in the lane. JAHEZ tracked the leaders for the first half mile, pulled the rider into contention leaving the half mile pole, went on with an early bid circling four wide to the lead on the bend and flattened out in the stretch unable to sustain the rally. HAD RIGHT went evenly without impact. DAY MONEY set the pace for a half and tired midway on the far turn. LAW OF THE JUNGLE trailed throughout as a non-factor.
