CHARTER OAK settled off the dueling leaders through the turn under patient handling, circled them to take command turning for home and drew off handily as much the best. BRIT'S CANDYMAN pressed the pace to midway on the bend, rallied to the lead nearing the quarter pole, was no match for the winner and kept-on willingly to hold the place. WOODY'S CHOICE set a pressured pace through the turn and weakened in the stretch.
