Chart notes
THRU THE VINE set a well rated, well measured pace for five-eighths, repelled a challenge on the final turn to pull clear in upper stretch and was never threatened again in a convincing effort. DOWNTOWN CONNECTOR unhurried for the first half mile to be near the rear of the field, circled six wide while making a steady rally from midway on the far turn and finished willingly as second best. AULD LANGE SYNE stalked the pace down the backside, rallied to threaten on the turn, was repelled by the winner and kept-on in the lane to hold the show. CREDIT RIVER raced mid-pack to the far turn, made a steady advance five wide on the bend and flattened out unable to sustain the rally. ATTA BOY ANTHONY tracked the leaders from three wide and failed to respond when called upon early on the final turn. BOBBY G traailed in the early going, gained ground into the far turn and finished evenly. STAR ENTERTAINER was well place along the fence just off the pace, was put to an early drive nearing the turn and failed to gain fading from contention coming home. AUGER went evenly never posiing a threat.
