Chart notes
COINAGE got bumped between foes at the start, established the front shortly after the break and showed the way in hand along the inside, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, swung three wide into upper stretch, edged away under a drive coming out two paths just inside the eighth pole and then getting directed out once more under an active left rein inside the sixteenth marker while edging away to the finish. BOURBON CHASE four wide through the first turn, chased four then three wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung four wide into upper stretch, ran on to secure the place honors. TWO'S A CROWD got bumped between foes at the start, chased just off the inside, came under brief and light urging a half a mile from home before coming under a drive with five-sixteenth to go, took the inside route into upper stretch, offered up a bid a furlong out, then ran on through to the finish to procure the show honors while well clear of the rest. ENGINEER EMPIRE broke in a step at the start bumping TWO'S A CROWD into COINAGE, raced three wide through the first turn before chasing just off the inside down the backstretch and through the far turn under encouragement from the three-eighths, angled four wide into upper stretch and tired. ALLURE OF MONEY hit the off side stall at the start then bumped COINAGE into TWO'S A CROWD against pressure outside from ENGINEER EMPIRE, chased along the inside coming under prolonged urging from the nine-sixteenths, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and made no impact. LOTSA TROUBLE broke out at the start and came under coaxing, chased along the inside coming under coaxing at the half mile pole, tipped out four wide nearing the three-eighths, continued four to five wide into upper stretch and tired.
