Chart notes
MALU was hustled from the gate, prompted the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, took the lead just inside the three-eighths pole, moved clear in the four path into the stretch, drew off while kept to the task until near the sixteenth-pole then was eased up while much the best. SWEET ANNIVERSARY was urged along while well placed just off the pace, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the five path and earned the place while no match for the winner. CHASING DAYLIGHT was hustled to the front then showed the way, vied inside on the turn, lost the lead to the winner just inside the three-eighths pole, dropped back into the stretch and weakened while well clear for the show. NOLITA brushed with a rival at the start, settled on the outside, was urged in the five path on the turn, dropped in late on that bend, reached the two path outside the quarter-pole and failed to respond. STARRY MIDNIGHT settled between foes, moved out near the nine-sixteenths pole under urging and brushed with a rival, chased in the four path for most of the turn then moved to the five path and tired. LAST GLORY brushed with a foe at the start, raced up close under urging, dropped back while brushing with an opponent near the nine-sixteenths pole, moved from the three path to the two path early on the turn and faltered. SILENT MELODY lost her footing at the start and was last away but broke with the field, was urged along at the rear, saved ground on the turn, came out into upper stretch and was no factor.
