The latter was hustled to contention while angling in and stalked two deep, challenged leaving the seven sixteenths pole, stayed in range of the winner in the three path on the far turn and could only improve slightly through the lane. LITTLE RICHIE settled back inside on the opening turn, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the five path and showed little more. DOG TOWN ALLEN stalked inside the first turn, gave chase leaving the half mile pole, raced at the rail into the far turn but drifted toward the head of the lane and flattened stride. CALLISTO'S BRIGADE raced in the five path the first turn, moved to the outside and gave chase toward the seven sixteenths pole then flattened in the four path on the far turn. MALEKES MAGIC settled in the three path the first turn and showed little response.
