Chart notes
THE DEVIL'S DREAM prompted the early pace to be be in striking distance of the pacesetter into the turn, gradually gained on the leader to take command at the quarter pole, opened a clear lead in upper stretch and was never threatened in the lane. SHEZ SHACKED UP set the pace under mild pressure down the backside, had no naswer when challenged on the bend and kept-on through the stretch gamely while failing to change leads until deep in the drive. CAUSE OF LOVE bobbled slightly leaving the gate, moved into a stalking position nearing the half mile pole and made a mild bid while angling six wide at the top of the lane to take the show. DANZA MAGIC unhurried early to be near the rear of the field and showed mild interest in the stretch with a late gain. ARTISTIC LANEY tracked the leaders from the fence for three-eighths, lost position on the bend while saving ground along the rail and lacked a closing bid. GAIL'S DANCER was well placed in the clear on the turn while maiking a brief rally and flattened out turning for home. DRUMBEG went evenly failing to pose a threat. OUT FOR FUN trailed throughout as a non-factor.
