Chart notes
IMPERIOUS tracked the leaders from afar through the turn, gained ground upper while angled wide, found her best stride late and closed with a rush to be up in time. BELLE BOTTOMS dueled on the pace down the backside from the fence, settled back on the turn to tip out around the leader to re-engage in upper stretch, took the lead again midway down the lane, edged clear and was caught in the final strides. COMPLEXITY GIRL dueled on the lead from three wide to the turn, took a clear lead on the bend, was re-challenged in upper stretch and weakened coming home. ELECTRIC MELODY raced along the rail saving ground throughout and went evenly without impact. FUNNYSTASTIC wandered about down the backside angling into the rail early and back to the five wide before settling into stride and never posed a threat failing to mount a rally. COMPLEX RICHES trailed while remaining wide for the trip down the backside and was never a factor.
