FANTASTIC DREAM sent leaving the start, assumed command into the first turn and set the early pace off of the rail, set modest fractions through the backstretch run, confronted nearing the half-mile marker, led while pressured into the second turn then shook free at the quarter pole, kept to task into the stretch, dug in while pressured into the final furlong, kept foes at bay into the final sixteenth and determinedly held in a drive in deep stretch. WILD WAGER prominent away from the start, ceded the early lead and tracked the pace three wide and between runners into the first turn, trailed through the backstretch run while not far back, was guided four wide into the far turn then roused five wide into upper stretch, closed well into the final furlong, could not reel in the winner into deep stretch and won the head nod for second at the finish. RULER OF ANGELS tracked the early pace, saved ground into the first turn, was close up to the modest pace while between rivals along the backstretch run, got caught in tight into the second turn and was boxed in at the quarter pole, found room into upper stretch and chased FANTASTIC DREAM to the furlong marker, could not find the needed late response and was outfinished for second, while holding safely for third. STAY LIT allowed to settle in the early stages, improved position into the backstretch run, was well placed at the half-mile marker while inside of runners, saved ground into the far turn and chased to the quarter pole, raced within aim into the stretch and could not muster the needed late response. EFFECTIVE GIG tracked the early pace five wide into the first turn, maintained an outside path into the backstretch run and tracked the modest pace while widest nearing the half-mile pole, chased four wide into the far turn, lost position into upper stretch and tired in the final furlong. MOVIETIME forwardly placed in the early stages, stalked the pace four wide into the first turn, made a middle move into the backstretch run and vied for the lead between rivals approaching the half-mile pole, chased three wide and between runners into the far turn, was weakening when shuffled back at the quarter pole, gave way into upper stretch and trailed the rest of the way.
