Chart notes
AIR GERRI rated inside rivals, was let out some leaving the bend, floated out to path three, moved clear and held sway. WIN WITH COLOR jostled repeatedly with HUCKLEBERRY HUSTLE from the five-furlong marker to the half mile pole, lost ground four wide on the bend, took over second inside the last eighth and was closing in on the leader late. HUCKLEBERRY HUSTLE jostled repeatedly with WIN WITH COLOR in the early going, was three then four wide taking the turn, slowly wore down the final furlong and lugged in beside THE LAST THRILL in the waning yards. COWGIRL FRANKIE well back early, advanced two wide on the bend, fanned out behind HUCKLEBERRY HUSTLE for the stretch run and showed a willingness to run late. THE LAST THRILL vied for the early lead two wide between horses, began to yield near the quarter pole, continued to slowly wear down in the lane and was taken in hand when crowded by HUCKLEBERRY HUSTLE nearing the wire. LUTION chased from outside then made up minor ground the final eighth. MADELYN ATTACK failed to menace in a ground-saving trip.
