BE LIKE CLINT chased just off the pace three wide throughout, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung four wide into upper stretch, rallied to issue a challenge inside the final furlong and was up in the last jumps to the finish. L'ANTHARIS (FR) tracked the pace along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, rallied to split foes and take command a furlong from home, dug in under threat and was caught in the final strides to the wire. BREES attended the leader from the outside in the two path, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, continued just off the inside into upper stretch, took over command straightened away, dug in under threat and was collared just outside the eighth pole, then kept on to preserve the show honors over a a quarter on the wire. CLASSIC CREATION two to three wide in pursuit, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. CALIFORNIA SOBER chased just off the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, angled five wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid but was outfinished in the late going. SWORE saved ground near the rear of the field, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled out four wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid but was outfinished to the wire. LATE CALL chased two to three wide early on and then three to four wide down the backstretch and through the far turn the final time coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, went seven wide into upper stretch, offered up a bid but was outkicked. NOW AND LATER tracked the pace along the inside coming under urging with five-sixteenths to go, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, offered no kick. HARRY HOOD established the front and showed the way in hand along the inside, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, took the inside route into upper stretch and yielded the front straightened away, stayed on prominent to the furlong grounds and then backed away in the late stages. TIDE OF THE SEA tossed his head at the start and was rank for a few strides away from the gate, raced two to three wide through the first two turns before tipping four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked four wide through the far turn coming under coaxing with three furlongs to go, swung five wide into upper stretch and made no impact.
