Chart notes
DEFAULT crowded at the start, jostled briefly with WILDWOOD ADIOS then bumped WILDWOOD QUEEN, advanced inside, was steadied when cut off into the bend, altered out, squeezed through two wide between rivals nearing the quarter pole, fanned out into the lane and rallied to get up in time. TRIBEST (ARG) rated on the front end from outside, moved clear when allowed into the turn, was just off the rail entering the lane and gradually wore down deep stretch. TILL soon trailed, picked up her pace along the rail on the bend, swung out some into the stretch and surged late from between horses. WILDWOOD QUEEN broke inward starting a chain-reaction of bumping, pressed the early speed from between horses, faded three wide on the turn, swung out widest for the stretch run and finished evenly. WILDWOOD ADIOS jostled briefly after the break, was sent to contest the pace from inside, forced to take the rail into turn, was no match for TRIBEST (ARG) and began to fade in the lane. BACKSTAGE BAMBI was never a factor.
