Chart notes
PLAY IT LOUD had a brief early lead inside then stalked from the seven eighths pole, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole and took the nod at the five sixteenths, drew away at the rail on the far turn and was kept alert in the stretch. ROYAL PAIN settled inside early then bid into the backstretch and steadily improved, rounded the far turn about the three path but had to settle for second best. GROUP EIGHTEEN settled in the three and four paths the first turn then stalked two deep from the seven eighths pole, took the nod passing the nine sixteenths pole and was pressured for more leaving the three eighths, gave up the lead at the five sixteenths, dropped back into the far turn and faded through the turn. RIDICULOUS raced off the early pace off the rail, bid past the seven sixteenths pole and rounded the far turn near the rail, but showed little more. OVERLY CRITICAL settled in the four path, picked up the chase leaving the half mile pole but flattened in the six path on the far turn. CANDY TYCOON settled in the three and four paths, chased leaving the seven sixteenths pole but showed little response. RAGTIME RICHES saved early ground and showed little response through the backstretch. MAGICAL MONARCH took the lead two deep on the opening turn and rated the pace, was met past the nine sixteenths pole and gave chase into the backstretch but faded leaving the seven sixteenths pole.
