MONTAUK DADDY took a quick lead and tapered to the inside to show the way, came under pressure nearing the three eighths pole, widened at the rail on the far turn and was kept sharp in the lane. WE B SHACKIN stalked inside, bid nearing the three eighths pole and raced near the rail on the far turn, then dueled through the stretch for second. REMYS SHOWTIME closed toward contention while tapering in and stalked two deep the first turn, challenged nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn and was outfinished in the stretch duel for second. KENNY HAD A NOTION stalked from the three path, picked up the chase approaching the three eighths pole, raced in the four path on the far turn then flattened in the lane. DESERT RULER raced in the five path the first turn and left the turn outside, gave chase nearing the five sixteenths pole, entered the far turn about the three path but angled to the six path through the turn and passed some rivals. CAYENNE CREEK raced in the four path the first turn then picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and showed little in the lane. BATTLE OF BASTOGNE was not a factor. REBELDE mostly saved ground. SMOOTH RICO stalked from the four path the first turn, left the turn outside and picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, but faded past the five sixteenths pole.
