WOUND UP was prominent away from the start, engaged with HEY BATMAN in the early going and disputed the solid pace outside of that rival heading to the half-mile marker, vied for the lead three then two wide into the turn and took a narrow lead at the quarter pole, drew clear while in hand into upper stretch, kept to task under mild hand urging into the final sixteenth and was geared down late to win as much the best. MAJOR TOM tracked the solid early pace from the second flight, saved ground into the turn, angled three wide into upper stretch, could not impact the winner into the final sixteenth but closed well in deep stretch and gained second. OUR BOLD PRINCE raced close up to the solid early pace, well placed approaching the turn, chased three wide nearing the quarter pole, was outkicked into upper stretch, stayed on into the final furlong and was outfinished for second, while holding clearly for third. TOO MUCH INFO tracked the solid early pace from between runners, shifted to the outside approaching the turn, chased four to five wide into the bend, lost ground into the stretch and passed tiring rivals in the final stages. GROSS PROFIT unhurried away from the start, trailed heading to the half-mile pole, saved ground into the turn, maintained an inside path into upper stretch and offered a mild late rally. IMPERIAL HORNET raced close up to the solid early pace, got caught in tight approaching the turn and navigated traffic while boxed in at the three-furlong marker, chased two to three wide nearing the quarter pole, swung four wide into upper stretch, could not muster the needed late response and weakened in the final furlong. MY BUCKET LIST bobbled at the start and was off a bit slowly, allowed to settle in the early going, went two to three wide nearing the quarter marker and did not threaten in the stretch drive. HEY BATMAN engaged with WOUND UP in the early stages and contested the solid pace with that rival heading to the half-mile pole, pressed the pace inside of WOUND UP into the turn, could not keep pace into upper stretch and tired in the final furlong. STORMIN GALILEO chased the solid early pace inside of rivals, lost position at the quarter marker, was outrun into upper stretch and came up empty in the drive.
