Chart notes
HOPPING HENRY was hustled to the lead nearing the three eighths pole and set a pressured pace, rounded the turn off the rail but dug in determinedly to eke out a nose over DUNCAN IDAHO, who gave chase through the backstretch and raced in the three path entering the turn, took aim between horses two deep mid-stretch but missed the nod under the wire. PENGUIN POWER gave chase through the backstretch and raced close in the four path on the turn, but was outfinished in the duel through the stretch. JEFFERSON NATIVE was hustled along with a brief early lead then pressured the pace from the three eighths pole, dropped back at the rail past the quarter then flattened stride inside the sixteenth pole. YOUTHINKTHATSFUNNY chased outside, rounded the turn about the five path and ran evenly in the lane. EL LUCERITO chased inside but steadied at the rail past the five sixteenths pole, angled out toward the eighth pole and showed little more.
