Chart notes
COWBOY AT HEART took a quick lead and angled to the inside to show the way, was pressured into the turn then kept sharp through the lane. PRIZE FIGHTER gave chase, raced off the rail on the turn and settled for second best. HEIR PORT chased inside, rounded the turn at the rail and flattened in the lane. CLAW gave chase through the backstretch but was blocked approaching the five sixteenths pole, recovered stride in the four path entering the turn, angled to the rail toward the eighth pole and ran evenly in the lane. JAZZ MAN DO gave chase but lost momentum while hemmed in leaving the five sixteenths pole, raced in the three path on the turn, drifted into the lane and showed little more. EMPEROROFTHEDARK gave chase outside, rounded the turn about the five path and showed little in the lane. LAZARETTO chased through the backstretch, entered the turn about the six path, angled in toward the eighth pole and showed little in the lane. CAJUN FUN gave chase then faded in the five path on the turn.
