Chart notes
PRIMA was under a tight hold content to flank the pacesetter outside down the back straight, coasted past on the outside taking control while in hand in midturn, was encouraged right handed three wide to spurt clear in early stretch and while on the wrong lead to the finish line held safe for the win under confident handling. JIMMY'S AFFAIR tracked the front duo outside, was on hold in the three path behind the top two waiting for the cue to go, shifted inwards making a rally on the fence in upper stretch, never gave in but could only chase the winner home down the lane. MAGIC TOKEN co-trailed on the inside, settled at the rear through the running on the turn, closed the gap on rivals in the two path with a quarter mile left to run, weaved around runners in the three path down the stretch and with a late surge closed fast but had to settle for the show money at the finish line. YOU BE THE JUDGE co-trailed on the outside down the backstretch, opted for the overland route going four wide outside foes at the quarter pole, continued the wide trip having momentum in the seven path turning for home and finished up with intent to settle on the fringes in the end. MAGICAL TRICK tracked inside in the second flight, took the short away around waiting behind the leaders on the bend, shifted five wide at the top of the lane and finished up evenly to the wire. TWISTED ROMANCE was away slowly to trail in the beginning, advanced improving position on the fence with five furlongs from the wire, shifted outside two wide into the turn, narrowed the margin on the leaders three wide with a quarter remaining but had little to show when in the five path between horses in upper stretch. HOLIDAY IN JAIL travelled outside runners in mid-pack, offered a brief run three wide from the three furlong marker to loom three wide at the top of the lane, could not sustain the run and faltered at the sixteenth pole. ONELLA had a slim lead on the inside down the backside, was nudged three furlongs out but could not go with the winner outside through the turn, retreated on the fence at the quarter pole and was empty for the stretch drive.
