Chart notes
JOKEMEISTER set pressured early pace, edged clear on the turn, widened the advantage in upper stretch and was never threatened in the lane. FLIPPING FISH reserved off the pace while saving ground along the fence to midway on the turn, angled out three wide while commencing a rally and finished willingly to be second best. FIELDSTONE stalked the pace to be instriking position turning for home and finished evenly unable to mount a closing bid. SPEITFUL SAM raced near the rear of the field unhurried for the first quarter mile, rallied on the turn with an early bid and falttened out in upper stretch. OVER THE HILLS failed to menace. SCRIMPER flashed brief speed to press the early pace, dropped from contention on the bend coming up empty. BOUDIN was not a factor.
