Chart notes
J M BIG BOY was mid field early on, racing along the outside, then offered a bid from the quarter pole, closing rapidly and drawing clear in late stretch to win easily. C JACK pressed the pace throughout, racing two wide, gained the lead at the eighth pole, but was out finished in late stretch by J M BIG BOY. BEETHOVEN J stalked the pace just off the rail, offered a mild bid in the stretch to hang on to third with a weakening leader falling back. PEEKAY grabbed the lead early, saving ground along the inside, but weakened in late stretch. MICKEYS TRAIL was near the back and passed a tiring rival racing evenly throughout. SINAI was mid pack, racing along the inside and never fired. STORM BY THE SEA trailed the field throughout and showed little.
