Chart notes
NIGHT TIME RULER chased the leader two wide into the stretch, was carried out to the five path, responded under mild left handed urging to make the lead late and edged clear under a hand ride. SMASH away alertly, made the lead three wide before a quarter mile, set the pace into the stretch, drifted to the four path then couldn't handle the winner in the final stages. BROADWAY SKY hopped at the start, settled with the second flight outside, improved position into the stretch and finished best of the rest. FAT DADDY failed to menace. OILER set the pace along the inside into the clubhouse turn, prompted the pace for nearly a half then weakened. BLESS THE KITTEN trailed.
