Chart notes
TRIPLE RED ACES went to the front, drove clear, saved ground around the turn, shook off a challenge by DADDY'S FINEST, pulled away down the lane and proved the best. DADDY'S FINEST pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, made a bid around the turn, couldn't keep up the winner, but was a clear second. WILLIAM GUSTAVO lacked early speed, saved ground around the turn, made a late bid and got up for third. ALL SAINTS raced within striking distance, made a wide bid and was outfinished for third. SPRY CHARLIE raced within contention, faded and finished evenly. WICKED TOUGH void of early speed and was never a factor. PINEHURST (IRE) raced in the middle of the field, came around the turn four wide and faded. ZAPAWAY always raced near the back and showed little.
