Chart notes
TOOTOO TOURIST challenged for the early advantage, saved ground throughout, shook off a bid by CRAFTROOM at the head of the stretch and drove clear under steady urging. CRAFTROOM pressed the pace, raced four wide around the first turn, made a bid around the final turn, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. MRS. MACOMBER lacked early speed, made a steady gain and proved no match for the top two. GIANT TUDE pressed the early pace, forwardly placed throughout and weakened. TAP IRON FIST void of early speed, showed late interest, but was no factor. ALTAR GIRL raced in the middle of the field, saved ground around the second turn, put forth an even effort and lacked a bid. DR. BOO void of early speed and was never close. CHARMING KAT raced within contention, came around the second turn on the outside and dropped back. COSTA LADY lacked early speed, retreated to rear and was eased to the wire, walked off.
