Chart notes
HONEYQUIST set a pressured pace well off the rail through the backstretch, angled to the inside entering the turn and contested the edge nearest the rail, dueled clear past the eighth pole and held well with steady handling. WOODLINE chased inside, raced at the rail on the turn and dueled to take second late yards. LITTLE ROO ROO gave chase, raced in the three path on the turn and was outfinished in the stretch duel for second, though held on for third. UNCLE CHINITO gave chase and raced at a close disadvantage two deep on the turn, but dropped back into the stretch and flattened stride. MARSHALL PEANUT gave chase, rounded the turn about the five path and showed little in the lane. RUFFNER gave chase inside to no avail.
