Chart notes
MAD SWANN pressured the pace and took the nod three wide approaching the quarter pole, dueled briefly clear past the eighth pole and was steadily handled to hold on. ALL CAPS gave chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the five path, dug in for second mid-stretch and was closing the gap on the winner. ESSENTIAL MAGIC gave chase, raced at the rail on the turn and came along to take third mid-stretch. POUR ME A DRINK stumbled a stride out then gave chase, raced off the rail into the turn, eased out into the stretch and passed some rivals. CREME DE LA QUEEN pressured the pace inside, was met into the turn, dropped back past the eighth pole and flattened the final sixteenth. LIME STAR steadied on the chute then gave chase while saving ground. K'S LANEE set a pressured pace through most of the backstretch but was met while two deep and between horses approaching the quarter pole, dropped back leaving the turn and weakened.
