DR JACK FLYER took the lead and moved to the inside to show the way, came under pressure nearing the three eighths pole, widened at the rail on the far turn and further extended his lead with steady stretch handling. EL DIVINO NINO came away a bit awkwardly then stalked from the three path the first turn, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and had to settle for second best. TIMMY settled in the three path the first turn, left the turn outside and gave chase from the three eighths pole, raced two deep on the far turn and dueled through the stretch for third. STROLLINGINTHEWIND rated close inside the first turn, gave chase past the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and was outfinished in the stretch duel for third. LASTWALKTOFREEDOM settled just off the pace on the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole but faded into the far turn. TIMO saved early ground while well back.
