RUN ROCKY RUN took a quick lead while tapering in and rated the pace, was met toward the seven sixteenths pole, dueled clear at the quarter, raced near the rail on the far turn and was kept alert in the lane. KNOCKOUT WIN stalked from the three path the first turn, challenged toward the seven sixteenths pole and dueled from that point, but dropped back off the rail at the quarter pole, drifted on the turn, flattened in the lane but held on for second. BUKOVEL settled in the three path the first turn, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole and improved at the rail on the far turn, then dueled through the stretch for third. GOLDEN AL settled in the four path the first turn, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn and was outfinished in the stretch duel for third. GERICAULT stalked from the four path the first turn, left the turn toward the outside and picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the three and four paths on the far turn then flattened in the lane. PAYNTED THUNDER settled inside the first turn, showed little response through the backstretch, could only improve his position and rounded the far turn about the five path. LILENGTHATCOULD showed little response. BRAVE SAND RIDER rated close inside through the front stretch but steadied from tight quarters at the rail nearing the first turn, stalked through the turn then gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole but faded past the five sixteenths. FUJI FIRE settled in the five path the first turn, raced outside into the backstretch and showed little response.
