Chart notes

ITS THIEVERY forwardly placed leaving the start, took back and tracked from the inside along the first turn, well placed into the backstretch run, tracked the moderate pace heading to the half-mile pole, got caught in tight and was boxed in into the second turn, tipped four to five wide into the stretch and loomed at the three-sixteenths, responded and took command past mid-stretch, edged away under steady urging into the final sixteenth and held safely in a drive at the finish. WINE AND WHISKY took back off of the early pace, tracked three wide into the first turn and was well placed into the backstretch run, stalked the moderate pace between runners nearing the half-mile, chased three wide into the far turn, bid at the quarter pole and vied for the lead into upper stretch, took a narrow lead heading to the furlong marker, was overtaken past mid-stretch, could not match strides with the winner into the final sixteenth and held well late for second. AMANOFMYSTATURE stalked the early pace and saved ground into the first turn, was well placed into the backstretch run and stalked the moderate pace nearing the half-mile, vied for the lead approaching the second turn, took command and led to the quarter pole, met the bid of WINE AND WHISKY and battled that rival into upper stretch, grudgingly gave way into the final furlong and was outfinished in deep stretch, while well clear of the rest for third in a good effort. LOOKOUT POINT unhurried in the early going, raced four wide into the first turn, trailed through the backstretch run and maintained a four wide path into the second turn, gained ground into the stretch, could not sustain that run into the final sixteenth and passed tiring rivals in deep stretch. LORD WIMBORNE (IRE) was allowed to settle and saved ground into the first turn, unhurried through the backstretch run, made a steady advance while saving ground into the far turn, could not sustain his run into the stretch drive and flattened out late. AZURE STAR (IRE) broke alertly and was sent to the early lead, cleared the field into the first turn and set the pace off of the rail into the backstretch run, carved out moderate fractions nearing the half-mile marker, was challenged then overtaken into the second turn, ran in pursuit into upper stretch and faded in the final furlong. BESKAR settled in the second flight leaving the start, tracked three wide and between rivals into the first turn, was well placed into the backstretch and chased the pace heading to the half-mile pole, ran in pursuit four wide nearing the quarter marker, could not keep pace into upper stretch and gave way. MOUNT PELLIAR allowed to settle leaving the start, raced three to four wide and between rivals into the first turn, was widest into the backstretch run and tracked the moderate pace nearing the half-mile marker, lost ground into the far turn and chased three wide approaching the quarter pole, tired in the stretch drive and did not factor late.
