Chart notes
BOYS OF SUMMER stalked the pace in hand, took over before half mile then drew away under wraps. ROSSINGTON dropped back outside, advanced wide and was second best while no threat to the winner. MARINE PATROL stumbled at the start, saved ground and continued willingly. CAUTELOSO was fanned very wide into the first turn, remained wide and had no bid. TOADY HOPPER raced off the leaders in the two path then gave way readily. HOPPERTULLIO chased within striking range for half a mile and stopped. HARRISON C led for nearly half a mile then stopped abruptly.
