Chart notes
ROMANIAN PRINCE pressed the pace from the outside down the backside, brushed rival nearing the three-eighths while racing in close quarters, continued to duel down the stretch while attempting to lug-in on thr runner-up, straighthened away only to be bumped late by ENVELOPE PLEASE as he came out nearing the wire and prevailed in the final strides. ENVELOPE PLEASE dueled for the lead from the inside while racing six paths off the rail down the backstretch, exchanged bumps just before the turn, retained command to upper stretch in a prolonged battle, was brushed by the winner in upper stretch as that one leaned in briefly, continued the match race to the wire coming out late to bump the winner and was denied in the final jumps in a game effort. GRAY TORMENTOR tracked the leaders throughout and failed to gain while winning the contest for the show. OBI KENOBI was one-paced chasing the leaders from five wide the entire way. GRAY DAY in tight leaving the gate, dropped to the rear of the field and was never able to gain a position from there.
