RICH GOLD settled off of the early pace while never far back, tracked the modest pace from the inside into the backstretch, was guided outside of rivals approaching the far turn, mounted a four to five wide rally into the stretch, vied for the lead at the eighth pole then took command past mid-stretch, kept to task into the final sixteenth and held safely for the win in deep stretch. SEA DOG assumed early command, set a prompted pace while off of the rail along the first turn, carved out modest fractions nearing the half-mile marker, dug in into the second turn and led to the quarter pole, drifted out a bit into upper stretch and led to the furlong marker, was overtaken into the final sixteenth, could not match strides with the winner into deep stretch and held well late for second. BROTHER O' BRIEN a step slow away from the start, rushed up and prompted the early pace outside of SEA DOG, attended to the modest pace into the backstretch run, chased three wide into the far turn, vied for the lead at the quarter marker then got caught a bit in tight while between runners into upper stretch, battled past mid-stretch, was outkicked in the final sixteenth and held clearly in the end for third. MY BUCKET LIST was forwardly placed in the early going, tracked three to four wide into the first turn, well placed into the backstretch, mounted a three to four wide bid into the far turn and loomed at the quarter marker, battled into upper stretch, could not keep pace into the final sixteenth and weakened in deep stretch. SUGAR BEETS allowed to settle leaving the start, raced outside of rivals into the first turn, content to trail through the backstretch run while not far back, chased five wide into the second turn, could not muster a late response and gave way in the stretch. This race was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
