Chart notes
TABATA rated nicely in the early stages, tracked the moderate pace outside of rivals heading to the half-mile marker, was well placed into the turn and stalked three wide nearing the quarter pole, asked for run into the stretch, chased IRIS OF KINGSTOWN to the furlong marker, overtook the runner-up into the final sixteenth and drove clear late for a good debut win. IRIS OF KINGSTOWN sent to assume early command, set a moderate pace while well handled nearing the half-mile marker, showed the way into the turn and led to the quarter pole while just off of the rail, was set down for the drive and led to the furlong grounds, met the bid of TABATA past mid-stretch, could not match strides with the winner into the final sixteenth and was second best in the end. VALERIE close up to the early pace, tracked between rivals heading to the half-mile marker, stalked the moderate pace two wide and between runners into the turn, ran evenly to mid-stretch, could not muster the needed late response and held safely for third at the finish. DANCING NURSE settled off of the early pace, improved position into the turn and raced two wide nearing the quarter pole, needed more into the stretch drive and finished evenly. IT IS WRITTEN prominent away from the start, stalked the moderate early pace from the inside, saved ground into the turn, chased along the bend and was well placed nearing the quarter pole, was outkicked into upper stretch and gave way in the final furlong. PETITE DANCER chased the moderate early pace, went three wide into the turn and lost position at the quarter pole, trailed into the stretch and tired in the final furlong.
