RICKS RED STORM settled off of the decent early pace while never far back, tracked outside of rivals nearing the half-mile marker, raced four to five wide into the turn and advanced at the quarter pole, rallied into the stretch and vied for the lead at the furlong marker, took command past mid-stretch, edged away into the final sixteenth and kept to task late to prove best. GIANOLA took back off of the decent early pace, saved ground into the turn and advanced nearing the quarter marker, maintained an inside path into the stretch and loomed at the three-sixteenths, could not make headway on the winner into the final sixteenth and bested the rest. MUAY THAI (IRE) prominent away from the start, went up and pressed the decent early pace from between rivals, prompted the pace two to three wide into the turn, vied for the lead between runners into upper stretch, battled past mid-stretch then was outkicked into the final sixteenth, stayed on into deep stretch and held for third at the finish. HOT JOURNEY was forwardly placed away from the start, stalked the decent early pace three wide and between runners, chased into the turn and loomed three to four wide nearing the quarter pole, vied between runners into upper stretch, was outkicked into the final sixteenth, weakened in deep stretch and just missed for third. SUMMANUS sent to assume early command, set a pressured pace heading to the half-mile marker, dictated terms into the turn and set a disputed pace nearing the quarter pole, battled between rivals into upper stretch, held a narrow lead at the furlong marker then was overtaken past mid-stretch, battled into the final sixteenth, could not keep pace into deep stretch and yielded late. GOOD FOCUS lunged at the start and was away a bit slowly, allowed to settle in the early going while never far back, raced outside of rivals approaching the turn, chased five wide along the bend and gained ground at the quarter pole, went six wide into upper stretch, ran evenly to the furlong marker, could not sustain his run into the final sixteenth and flattened out late. TIGER ATTACK was forwardly placed away from the start, tracked the decent early pace four wide and between rivals heading to the half-mile marker, chased three to four wide into the turn, got shuffled back a bit past the three-furlong marker, lost position at the quarter pole, could not keep pace into upper stretch and tired in the final furlong.
