Chart notes
REMEMBER SUE settled off of the early pace and saved ground into the first turn, tracked the modest pace into the backstretch run, saved ground while well placed at the half-mile marker, tipped three wide nearing the quarter marker, was roused four wide into upper stretch, responded to urging and loomed past the furlong marker, took command into the final sixteenth and edged away late. GEA allowed to settle away from the start, was content to trail along the backstretch run while not far back, raced five wide into the far turn, swung widest into upper stretch and ran evenly to the furlong marker, finished well in the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner into deep stretch and got up in the final strides for second. SHELBY GOLD sent to assume early command, showed the way into the first turn and carved out modest fractions while prompted into the backstretch run, battled inside of A CROWN FOR KITTEN into the far turn, dueled that rival into the stretch, was overtaken by REMEMBER SUE approaching the sixteenth-marker, stubbornly stayed on into deep stretch and just missed for second, while just holding for third. A CROWN FOR KITTEN prompted the early pace outside of SHELBY GOLD, attended to the modest pace through the backstretch run, vied for the lead into the far turn then battled into upper stretch, could not match strides with the winner past the furlong marker and just missed for the minor awards. TIZ MY PRINCESS tracked the early pace from the outside, was three wide into the first turn, well placed through the backstretch run, chased four wide into the far turn and lacked the needed response in the stretch drive.
