Chart notes
BIG SOIREE was allowed to settle from the break, tracked well behind the pace through the early stages, began a sustained run from the seven-sixteenths pole and moved towards the lead through the turn while three wide, took command at the top of the stretch, opened up a clear lead and finished up well under steady handling to prevail. DUTTON STREET GIRL settled well off the pace in the early running then gained ground on the turn, swung five wide into the stretch, finished willingly under steady handling, was gaining on the winner but came up short. PENNYPATTER got away quickly and pressed the pace to the outside of SENSATIONAL Z Z to the turn, gained the advantage passing the quarter pole, took a slight lead into the stretch but tired from early efforts and was unable to fend off the top pair while holding third. AUTISM INSPIRATION took up shortly after the break, lost some momentum and was forced to chase from the back of the pack, stayed three to four wide down the backstretch and into the turn, made up a little ground approaching the stretch then lugged in slightly when set down and finished evenly well behind the top three. SENSATIONAL Z Z broke sharply and gained the lead with PENNYPATTER pressing the issue every step of the way from the start, gave way at the quarter pole had nothing left for the stretch run. NINE FOOLS was away in good order and tracked the dueling leaders to the turn, was asked to go on from the three furlong pole but did respond and was outrun in the late stages.
