PAYNT YOUR WAY hustled hard away from the gate to gain position into the first turn, held off outside challenger in upper stretch, then held off inside bidder through the wire. THUNDERTURTLE trailed the field early on, settled into a nice stride down the backside, bid inside entering the far turn, angled around leg weary foe leaving the three eighths marker, sent back to the rail for the stretch run, and finished gamely to the wire. RIDE THE RAPIDS raced mid pack and off the early pace around the first turn, quickened the tempo three deep around the far turn, loomed a dangerous threat in upper stretch, and was out kicked to the wire. CELTIC REVIVAL stalked the pace from the two path, lost a step around the three eighths marker, evened out through the stretch run. BEST VIRGINIA slammed the gate pre race, raced well off the pace into the far turn, lacked a bid late. PERPETUAL PRAISE raced inside into the first turn, steadied along the rail mid way around the club house turn, chased inside down the back stretch, and weakened to the wire. NURSE RACHETT tracked the pace from the three path around the first turn and down the backside, under a drive in upper stretch, came up empty. AFLEET DIVA rank and off to a slow start, raced in the rear around the first turn, never a threat. THERE WAS A JOCKEYS OBJECTION IN THIS RACE, THE RIDER OF RIDE THE RAPIDS CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST PAYNTY YOUR WAY FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH, AFTER A STEWARDS REVIEW, THE RESULT WAS OFFICIAL NO CHANGE.
