Chart notes
HOYLAKE raced four wide around the first turn, then stalked the pace from the two path down the back stretch, under a drive in upper stretch, lugged in leaving the sixteenth marker, and held on driving. MITBY stalked the pace around the first turn, settled in just off the top pair for the run down the backside, bid outside rival in upper stretch, hung late. DREAM FORCE off to a slow start, quickened around the far turn, bid seven deep in upper stretch, closed the gap with good energy to the wire. NO BRAKE NEEDED raced off the early pace and along the inside, rail bid leaving the three eighths pole, flattened out to the wire. SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT raced off the pace and along the inside, bid inside through the lane, and evened out to the wire. SUPERSONIC CRUISER set the pace under urging into the first turn, held the lead into upper stretch, collard by outside rivals, gave way through the final sixteenth. EL REY DE PAPA off to a slow start, never threatened.
