Chart notes
HOTROD BOBBY broke in full stride to set all the pace, turned back multiple bids through the turn, responded under mild right handed urging and widened through the final furlong to win as much the best. ROLL ON BIG O vied for the lead along the inside, drew closer nearing the quarter pole then was no match for the winner but gamely gain second. PALACE TEMPTATION unhurried early, found his best stride late between horses three wide and got up for third by the narrowest of margins. GIFT OF OAK trailed into the stretch, swung wide and closed a gap late. STORMED OUT chased the winner down the backstretch, loomed boldly three wide nearing the quarter pole, kept on into the stretch and faded late. LIL RICKYS JEWEL was no factor. MARVIN'S EXPRESS well placed, failed to respond. ORVILLE B was not released by the assistant starter when the gate opened, reared unseating his rider and was declared a non-starter. THE STEWARD POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND AFTER REVIEW DECLARED ORVILLE B A NON STARTER.
