Chart notes
BILLY THE GREEK rated in the four path, loomed up five wide under coaxing passing the quarter, bid turning into the lane, took the lead passing the eighth pole and drew clear. REMERTON laid in range in the two path, bid two wide turning into the lane, was no match for the winner, but dug in to edge out an outer pair for place. JOINT RESOLUTION tracked in the three path, bid four wide passing the quarter, and kept on to outlast an inner foe for show. SPEED CONTROL prompted the pace in the three path, bid three wide midway around the far turn, briefly led at the top of the stretch, but finished evenly. NOBLE TIGER raced off the pace in the three path but made no impact. FOXTROT HARRY set the pace in the two path but gaveway in the stretch. SILENT AND VIOLENT chased in the two path but was no menace. T B TWELVE ALWAYS always trailed.
