Chart notes
HELICON stalked the pace in the three path, took the lead nearing the three-eighths pole, kicked clear in upper stretch and held clear under a drive. ROAR OF THE BEAST bumped at the start and again soon after, advanced four wide around the turn, reached near even terms outside of the winner approaching the quarter pole, could not match strides in upper stretch but kept on well to be clearly second best. IRON HAND was bounced around at the start, raced off the pace five wide and kept on for the show without threatening the top two. HE'S A DAREDEVIL was pinballed at the start, trailed in the two path and passed tiring rivals. ELIOT HOUSE chased the pace inside, continued on the left lead in the lane and had little left. SNEAKY SNEAKY bumped at the start, chased the pace three wide and came up empty in the lane. LAWLER had some speed outside, checked near the three-eighths pole and retreated. RIDING A DREAM was bumped at the start, set the early pace in the two path and faltered after a half.
