Chart notes
TIGER QUEEN was forwardly placed away from the start, took back and tracked the leading pair heading to the half-mile marker, was well placed into the turn and tracked three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, roused into upper stretch, ran evenly to the furlong marker, was full of run past mid-stretch and loomed into the final sixteenth, surged in deep stretch and got up in the final strides for a determined win. PRINCESS HEKAWI hustled away from the start, showed good speed and vied for the early lead inside of runners, dueled BOBBY'S GENIE into the turn and disputed solid fractions nearing the quarter pole, shook free into upper stretch and drew to a clear lead at the furlong marker, was all out into the final sixteenth, could not hold off TIGER QUEEN in deep stretch and was nailed on the wire for the win, while besting the rest. BOBBY'S GENIE prominent away from the start, went up and pressed the solid early pace outside of PRINCESS HEKAWI, dueled on the front end into the turn and vied for the lead three wide at the quarter pole, battled into upper stretch, could not keep pace past the furlong marker, yielded to the top pair in the final sixteenth and just held for third at the wire. TOPANTICIPATION (GB) was squeezed leaving the start and was a step slow to begin, settled while saving ground into the turn, closed in the stretch drive and just missed for third on the wire. PONDERGATING settled off of the early solid pace, chased from the outside entering the turn, went three to four wide at the quarter marker, swung to the five path into upper stretch, needed more in the late stages and offered a mild late rally. CANAM GAL stumbled sharply at the start and spotted the field to begin, allowed to settle in the early stages, trailed into the turn and did not factor late.
