LADY'S SERMON forwardly placed away from the start, tracked the moderate early pace from the inside heading to the half-mile marker, was well placed approaching the turn, loomed from the inside nearing the quarter marker, took command into upper stretch and drew clear at the furlong grounds, was kept to task under moderate urging into the final sixteenth and drew away under hand urging late. ROSES R BLUE settled in the second flight to begin, tracked two wide into the turn and chased the moderate pace nearing the quarter marker, made a sustained rally into the stretch, angled out in the final sixteenth, could not impact the winner into deep stretch and outfinished the rest for the place honors. SAHARA SUE rated off of the moderate early pace, saved ground into the turn, maintained an inside path into upper stretch and advanced at the furlong marker, flattened out a bit in the final sixteenth but outfinished SUPERSONIC FLYER late to earn the show honors. SUPERSONIC FLYER broke alertly and assumed early command, showed the way to the half-mile marker, set the pace off of the rail into the turn, carved out moderate fractions nearing the quarter pole, was overtaken by LADY'S SERMON into upper stretch, chased that rival to the furlong grounds, could not keep pace past mid-stretch, yielded late and was outfinished for the minor awards. HOLLYWOOD RUMOR bobbled at the start and was off a step slowly, allowed to settle in the early going, raced two to three wide along the turn, angled out nearing the furlong marker, lacked the needed late response and passed tiring rivals in the final sixteenth. SWIFT NONNI tracked the moderate early pace from outside of rivals, chased three to four wide along the turn, lost position into the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. CLAY'S OPAL INDY hit the gate at the start and was off slowly, trailed in the early stages, raced four to five wide along the turn, swung to the six path into upper stretch and did not factor in the late stages. BOURBON GLAZE was prominent away from the start, went up and stalked the moderate early pace outside of SUPERSONIC FLYER, chased the pacesetter three wide into the turn, asked for more at the quarter marker, was outrun into the stretch and faltered in the late stages.
