Chart notes
CHA CHA WREN was hustled from the gate, moved up on the outside leaving the chute, went to a clear lead around the five-eighths pole, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the turn, controlled the action going around that bend, responded well when asked nearing the quarter-pole and drew off under steady urging. DEAR JOHN showed the way early then relinquished the lead, dropped back with five furlongs to run, moved from the four path to the three path early on the turn, chased the winner into the final furlong and proved no match while well clear for the place. DANCING DAKOTAH was urged along at the rear, went around the turn in the two then three path, came out into upper stretch, drifted out outside the sixteenth-pole and was along for the show. LOOKIN TO ROCK lost her footing at the start, moved up under urging, dropped back late on the backstretch, saved ground on the turn and came up empty. VINO PAELLA raced just off the pace, dropped back leaving the backstretch, rounded the turn in the two then three path and had nothing left. BELLA LUNA MIA disputed the early pace, dropped back under urging near the nine-sixteenths, fell well behind while moving from the four path to the two path on the turn and faltered then was distanced.
