IMPERIAL HORNET was crowded by an outer rival at the start and broke a beat slowly, was hard sent leaving the gate and showed good early speed, assumed command heading to the half-mile pole, set the pace outside of rivals into the turn, engaged with OUR BOLD PRINCE and disputed quick fractions with that rival approaching the quarter marker, battled into upper stretch, lost the lead to OUR BOLD PRINCE at the furlong marker, came again into the final sixteenth, took a narrow lead in deep stretch and held in the final strides for a determined win. OUR BOLD PRINCE was prominent away from the start, vied for the early lead between rivals then chased IMPERIAL HORNET approaching the turn, went up and pressed inside of IMPERIAL HORNET entering the turn, dueled through quick fractions nearing the quarter pole, battled IMPERIAL HORNET into upper stretch and took a narrow lead at the furlong marker, fought gamely while on the left lead into the final sixteenth, was bested by the determined winner in deep stretch and was well clear of the rest for second. QUIET CHARM raced close up to the solid early pace, tracked between rivals heading to the half-mile marker, chased three wide into the turn and was well placed nearing the quarter pole, ran evenly into upper stretch, was outkicked into the final sixteenth and held safely at the finish for third. GOLF DRAMA settled off of the early pace while never far back, saved ground into the turn, maintained an inside path into upper stretch, finished evenly in the stretch and passed tiring rivals in the final sixteenth. AFFECTIONTO AUTISM broke alertly and ceded the early lead, stalked the solid early pace while saving ground approaching the turn, was well placed into the bend and chased the leading pair from the inside nearing the quarter pole, ran evenly to mid-stretch, could not keep pace into the final sixteenth and weakened. OH GREAT (IRE) took back off of the solid early pace, trailed into the turn and went three wide nearing the quarter marker, swung five wide into upper stretch and failed to threaten in the late stages. HEY BATMAN away in good order, vied for the early lead from between runners, chased two wide into the turn and lost position nearing the quarter pole, angled four wide into upper stretch and was outrun in the drive. REEF CITY hopped at the start and broke a bit awkwardly, rushed up in the early stages and chased the solid pace while widest nearing the half-mile pole, ran in pursuit four wide into the turn, lost ground into upper stretch and faded in the final furlong.
