RISING STAR was unhurried trailing in the beginning, shifted outside ahead of one runner down the backstraight, closed the gap smartly four deep at the half, edged up three wide around the last turn, moved in to bid in the four path at the top of the lane, wore down rivals at the furlong marker and cleared off in deep stretch for the score. VILLI OLENTO was knocked off stride at the break, had to be checked between horses at the seven eighths pole, trailed the field down the backstretch, began to pick up runners improving on the fence with three furlongs from home, shifted out four wide for the drive and had a good late rally to come on to best the rest for the runners up share. CANDID CANDACE tracked outside four wide going into the first of two turns, took closer order chasing the pace down the backstretch, was hard ridden forcing the issue outside through the final bend, vied between foes in the three path in upper stretch, was no match for the winner at the eighth pole and faded late to just miss holding for the place share late. I HAVE AN IDEA assumed command on the rail under a reasonable pace going into the headwind, travelled comfortably up top along the backside, maintained a narrow advantage on the r ail through the far turn, was headed outside at the top of the stretch, dug in stubbornly until the furlong marker and faded in deep stretch to settle on the fringes. GUNNAWIN broke out on the start, was tucked in smartly under a snug hold in midfield along the backside, waited inside a rival in the second flight around the far turn, skimmed the fence turning for home to be in the mix at the eighth pole but could not find more late and finished up evenly in the final furlong.
