Chart notes
STRENGTH OF AUTISM was close-up early racing along the inside, angled out to come four-wide into the stretch and closed strongly to be up in the final strides. PAT'S PADDOCK PICK saved ground setting the pace, drifted out entering the stretch and just failed to last in the game effort. SKY CLOUD was reserved off the pace while racing three-wide and finished in a mild rally. GROOVY HUEY prompted PAT'S PADDOCK PICK from along the outside to the stretch, had his rider lose the whip around the sixteenth pole and weakened. CLEAR THE COAST was allowed to settle while racing three-wide and lacked a rally. PEDAL TO THE METAL was unhurried early racing two-wide and failed to seriously threaten.
