Chart notes
BEDTIME was away alertly taking command inside from the start, edged clear midway around the bend, spurted away from the field turning for home and while not switching leads still improved the margin of victory down the stretch for the win. SHE'S SO CROATIAN broke in at the start, hounded the pace outside down the back straight, chased in the two path but could not gain on the leader through the turn, drifted out slightly when switching leads at the eighth pole and fought on late to best the rest at the wire for the runners up share. WORKOUT AFFAIR was away slowly spotting the field along the backside, caught up to runners on the fence with five sixteenths to go, shifted out between rivals in the four path at the top of the lane, was checked briefly three wide at the furlong marker and dug in late to win the duel for the show award. BAYTOWN CLEOPATRA settled on the rail in the second flight tracking, was nudged midturn taking closer order to the place share, battled inside for second money down the stretch but faded in the final sixteenth of a mile to garner a minor role in the end. POOKIESLOOKINGFIRE tracked between foes down the back straight, could not keep up to others through the turn, shifted to the three path for the stretch run and passed a tired rival in the last furlong. GOLDEN SUNSET was reluctant prior to the start, veered out on the break, tracked the front pair three deep on the outside down the backside, travelled three wide staying even with runners around the bend, angled out widest in the five path for the drive but had no finish to offer in the stretch running.
