Chart notes
DRYDEN was allowed to settle into stride seeing the field down the backside, started to mount a rally with a sharp turn of foot passing foes on the rail in midturn, shifted outside off the dueling pair three wide at the quarter pole, loomed boldly five wide in upper stretch and from the eighth pole home wore down a stubborn leader to edge away for the win in the final few strides. HE SHOOTS HE WINS pressed the issue outside down the backstretch, moved in closer by the quarter pole, took over control poking his head in front three wide in upper stretch, dueled stubbornly inside with the winner from the furlong pole to the wire but gave way grudgingly late. WET AND WILD stalked near the rear on the outside, mildly closed the gap running three wide around foes in the turn, shifted out widest in the six path for the drive to the finish and with a good late rally in the last furlong closed in to be a non-threating third in the end. ADELAIDE COURT settled close to the back of the pack on the inside, regressed throughout the turn seeing the field by the quarter pole, shifted out from the rail to the two path with a furlong remaining and finished up with intent to pass tired foes late for a minor placing at the line. DREAM JEREEM had a good spot all alone watching the embattled duo down the backside, kept pace while travelling just off the fence through the turn, shifted out to be four wide for the stretch drive but could not get involved finishing up one paced down the lane. FRAC RIGHT seized command from the onset, dictated terms up front while shadowed outside through the turn, relinquished the lead on the fence turning for home, had nothing left for the drive and wilted on the rail at the furlong marker.
